SSL certificates
SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) certificates guarantee the authenticity of a web site through a specific validation process executed by a certification authority. They increase the confidence of visitors in the credibility of your web site and demonstrate that high security standards are incorporated in your internet communication. Our certificates can be ordered through our API and web client. RRPproxy offers SSL certificates signed by world leading certification authorities:

Existing types of validation:
Domain authentication:The authentication and issuance process verifies that the applicant has administrative rights to the domain named in the certificate.
Full organization authentication:The validation includes business identity authentication, domain name verification and the verification of the fact that the organizational contact applying for the certificate on behalf of the company or organization is an employee of that.
Extended Validation (EV):This is the highest level of authentication available with an SSL certificate (signed acknowledgment of agreement from the corporate contact is required). With Extended Validation, visitors using high-security browsers see the address bar turn green when they visit the web site, a visible sign that the site is highly authenticated, trustworthy and that the information entered by the customer is secure. In addition to the green bar, high security browsers display the authenticated organization's name on the Extended Validation SSL certificate and the CA that issued it.
SGC enabled:
Some of the offered SSL certificates include SGC encryption technology. These certificates automatically step up protection to a minimum of 128-bit encryption even if customers use older browsers which have limited 40-bit or 56-bit encryption capabilities.
