ICANN has adopted several changes to the Inter-Registrar Transfer Policy ("IRTP").
The changes will come into force on June 1, 2012 and must be implemented at that time.

Reason for Denial #6 - New text:
Express objection to the transfer by the authorized Transfer Contact. Objection could take the form of specific request (either by paper or electronic means) by the authorized Transfer Contact to deny a particular transfer request, or a general objection to all transfer requests received by the Registrar, either temporarily or indefinitely. In all cases, the objection must be provided with the express and informed consent of the
authorized Transfer Contact on an opt-in basis and upon request by the authorized Transfer Contact, the Registrar must remove the lock or provide a reasonably accessible method for the authorized Transfer Contact to remove the lock within five (5) calendar days

Reason for Denial #7 - Original text:
A domain name was already in ³lock status² provided that the Registrar provides a readily accessible and reasonable means for the Registered Name Holder to remove the lock status.

AFNIC start the launch process for the registration of IDNs (Internationalized Domain Names) under .FR, .RE, .TF, .WF, .PM, and .YT on May 3 with a IDN Sunrise phase.
The Sunrise can be described as a kind of Grandfathering process: Domain holders will have priority in reserving an IDN corresponding to the ASCII version during this phase. If the ASCII equivalent has not yet been registered, it is possible to create it at any time, even during the sunrise period.

IDN registrations of AFNIC TLDs can be submitted with the regular AddDomain Command at regular prices during Sunrise. The registry will verify the eligibility of the Grandfather registration in real-time. Please be aware that you must use exactly the same contact ID you used for registering the ASCII domain when registering the IDN version.

General Availability for IDN registrations of AFNIC TLDs will start on July 3, 2012.

As part of Nominet's ongoing data quality improvement program for .UK domain names (please refer to http://www.nominet.org.uk/registrars/ra/DQIP/) the registry has introduced registrant name restrictions on registrations and domain name transfers.

The registrant name must meet one of the following requirements:

• The registrant name must contain 4 or more characters (any). - OR -
• The registrant name must contain 3 or more letters (a-z).

Explanation: If numbers or punctuation are included in the registrant name (registrant name consists of any type of characters), the minimum length is 4 characters. If there are only letters from a-z in the registrant name, there must be a minimum of 3 characters.

As of now, we will check the minimum length of the registrant name upon registration. Any .UK domain name application where the registrant name does not meet the above criteria would result in the application being
rejected.

Domain names directly under .PT may be registered now by all individuals and corporate entities following the first-come, first served principle.

As a consequence of the .PT liberalization, only two parameters are required for registration:
X-PT-OWNER-IDENTIFICATION: Fiscal ID/VAT number of owner, person or company
X-PT-TECH-IDENTIFICATION: Fiscal ID/VAT number of TECH-C, person or company

Furthermore, the following .PT extensions are no longer available: .INT.PT, .NET.PT, .NOME.PT, .PUBL.PT.

Although there is no local presence requirement for .CH domains in the proper meaning of the word, the registry may in certain cases request the disclosure of a valid correspondence address in Switzerland for purposes of the direct delivery of correspondence. In these cases the registrant must provide a valid Swiss correspondence address within 30 days (date of receipt by SWITCH).

If the registry does not receive details of a genuine and accurate contact address in Switzerland within the specified deadline, the respective domain name may be deleted.


Please note this improvement: As of now .CH restores are handled in real-time and can be requested by the customer via API command (RestoreDomain) or web interface. Restores are possible within 14 days upon deletion.

The Verisign Registry Lock Service allows registry-level protection for domain names and/or hosts
(name servers). The service enables to set Extensible Provisioning Protocol (EPP) server (registry)
status codes on selected domain names and/or hosts to prevent malicious or inadvertent modifications,

RRPproxy offers the use of so called passphrases. Passphrases may be used to authenticate authorized persons for support questions, bulk updates etc. If activated the passphrase must be mentioned in every written communication per e-mail, fax or mail as well as on the phone. This can greatly help to reduce risks of unauthorized access to your portfolio and ensures support integrity.

This option is not yet used by all RRPproxy customers. As of January 1, 2012 we kindly ask you to confirm whether you want to take advantage of this advanced security feature in the future or not. The usage of passphrases will still remain optional for most of our services but the feature must be now explicitly "disabled" if the use is not desired.

However, the use of passphrases will become mandatory for clients using RAM (Registry Account Management) and / or KSregistry, starting on February 1, 2012.

You may change your old passphrase, set a new valid passphrase or deactive this feature at all (opt-out) in the RRPproxy web interface following "Account -> Settings -> Tab: Passwords". Please note that the passphrase must comprise at least four (4) characters.

You may also set a passphrase or disable the passphrase feature via API using the following commands:

On registration, renewal or change of registrant (owner change) the administrative contact (Admin-C) and the registrant will receive two emails. One is a "welcome" message, the second one is an "activation" email with a link that one of the recipients must click on within 21 days to
a.) accept the TLD Registrant Agreement and AUP policy; and
b.) confirm the validity of contact details.

2. ICM Registry sends the registrant an introduction email with a validation link to the registrant's contact email address provided with the application.

Sunrise Track A (Trademark and Grandfathering):
For members of the Sponsored Community* with either trademark rights and or prospective rights through pre-owned strings in other TLDs* (Grandfathering). All strings eligible for Grandfathering must have been registered prior to February 2010. Applications in Sunrise A have priority over matching applications in Sunrise B. Competing applications in Sunrise A will go to auction.

PLEASE NOTE: All applicants in Sunrise A will receive an ICM Registry email to authenticate on the registry website after the application is submitted. They MUST complete the Sponsored Community authentication process* by November 2, 2011 (16:00 UTC) or the application will not be validated.

IMPORTANT: Validation checks for Sunrise A Grandfathering applications: Relationship between grandfather domain (e.g. example.com) and the corresponding .XXX domain name applied for (e.g. example.xxx) must be confirmed. Sunrise Track B (Trademark Block):

Successful Sunrise B applications are permanent. They cannot be lifted and there is no ownership of the block. Whois will reflect ICM Registry. The blocking of domains covers the period for which the ICM Registry has the license to run the TLD. This is currently 10 years.

notifying the applicable registrant of any Malware or cleaning any Malware
from any registrant\'s systems. The registrant shall indemnify, defend and
hold harmless Registry Service Provider, Registrar and its affiliates,

respective employees, directors, officers, representatives, agents and

Malware Scan, the failure to conduct a Malware Scan, the failure to detect

regulation in your registrant agreement for .TV and .CC domains.

RegistryPro will make .PRO registrations easier and .PRO domains more widely available to registrants,
effective November 17, 2011.

The .PRO registry will implement several changes, for example:

• Streamlined professional data collection process: The professional data required upon registration
  to activate a domain name is reduced to only the most relevant information.

This service enables the registration of .CN domains without a local contact in China. No additional documents are necessary. Even individuals may register a .CN domain using the trustee service.

The following parameters must be submitted for the registration of a .CN domain with trustee:
X-CN-ACCEPT-TRUSTEE-TAC = 1 (use of the trustee solution and acceptance of the trustee agreement)

The waiting period for .HU domains (Hungary) will be reduced from 14+2 days
to 8+2 days, effective June 1, 2011. The registry will check the requested
domains within 1-2 days, so that the domains will be activated relatively
quickly and can be used even during the waiting period.

The Slovenian registry will eliminate the fee for .SI transfers and trades as of June 1, 2011.

Since April 25, 2011, there are new guidelines for the publication of Whois data for .RU domains:
the registrant data of private persons are now kept confidential. The only available contact information
is an e-mail address. The Whois data output for legal entities is not affected by the change.

On May 16, 2011, the terms concerning ownership rights of .XN--P1AI domains (.RU IDNs) were modified:
Owners of .XN--P1AI domains have now an opportunity to withdraw from domain ownership rights through
an official written letter to the registry.
Furthermore, the registry is entitled to cancel ownership rights to a .XN--P1AI domain when the rights of
trademark, service mark or trade name owners are being violated.

The .ASIA registry has appointed CHIP (the Clearing House for Intellectual Property) as pre-verification

The .TEL registry announced the launch of short .TEL domains for June 2011. The release will include:

• two-character domains (e.g. aa.tel or a1.tel) and
• numeric-only domains (2-7 digits with or without hyphens, e.g. 1234567.tel or 123-456.tel).

There will be two launch phases:

• Landrush: June 1 (15:00 BST) to June 14, 2011 (14.59 BST): Open to everyone, first-come, first served, registration term: 1 to 10 years. A Premium Landrush registration fee applies.
• General Availability: starting on June 14, 2011 (15:00 BST): First-come, first served, at regular registration fee, 1 to 10 years.

The following strings are unavailable for registration:

• One-letter (a.tel - z.tel) and one-digit domains (0.tel - 9.tel)
• Two-character country code top level domains (ccTLDs, such as uk.tel)
• Combinations of digits and/or digit and hyphen strings that contain eight or more characters (e.g. 12345678.tel or 123-5678.tel)

You can now submit your applications for short .TEL domains to Key-Systems by API (please see the commands below) or web interface (Domain -> Application).

The Nominet registry system will accept DS records for the .UK name space starting May 18, 2011.
Thus, from this date it is possible to secure .UK third-level domain names using DNSSEC via RRPproxy. Nominet uses the DNSSEC standard dsdata 1.1; the Keys are encrypted with Hash Sha1.

At present, there is a five-day grace period following the submission of a transfer request. During this period, the transfer can be approved by the existing (releasing) registrar or cancelled by the prospective (receiving) registrar.
After May 17, 2011 there will be no grace period: the transfer will go through as soon as the submitted request has been processed by the system.

• We offer .MX second-level domain names at a special rate. This promotion applies to new 1-year registrations only and is valid from May 1 to May 31, 2011. Domain transfers and renewals are excluded.
   
• We added a new vServer class to our RRPproxy offers: Order now virtual servers with 4096 MB RAM via API or web interface - in May at a special launch price!
   
• Please note: Extension of the .CO promotion until May 31!

The registry of .BE prepared a new version of the terms and conditions for .BE domain names
with one major change: a new transfer procedure. The other modifications are rather of a legal
and technical nature and do not affect the content.

With this change the distinction between transfer and trade will disappear, there will be just one
transaction: the transfer transaction. The registrant will receive a transfer code by e-mail and must
send the code to the registrar to whom he wants to transfer his domain name, or to the new holder
who wants to take over the domain name. This transfer code will replace the manual confirmation.

The new .BE terms and conditions will come into force on June 14, 2011 and will, from that date,
apply to all registered .BE domain names and their respective holders.

DNS.be itself will inform the .BE domain name holders by e-mail of the new terms and conditions.

It is now even simpler for customers to set up their .TEL names with the release of the new
Quick Setup Tool included as part of the upgrade of the TelHosting systems.

Now, in just three simple steps, new customers and those who have not started using their
.TEL domains yet can quickly input, preview and publish their key business information and
location. This tool enables customers to create a clean and simple online presence that is
accessible for search engines and mobile friendly – in minutes!

This new functionality will automatically show to all new customers logging into the control
panel for the first time.

Having received a lot of requests, we are now ready to accept your pre-registrations for .XXX:

.XXX is a new sponsored top-level domain (sTLD), specifically designed for the benefit of the
global online adult entertainment industry. In March 2011, ICANN authorized .XXX as a
top-level domain name and granted ICM Registry final approval to operate the domain
extension.

The .XXX Sunrise is expected to start late summer 2011 and will be divided into two tracks A & B:
Track A is for members of the Sponsored Community with either Trademark Rights
and or have prospective Rights through Pre-Owned Strings in other TLDs.
Track B is for Trademark Rights Holders outside the Sponsored Community. Rights owners
from outside the Sponsored Community will have the opportunity to reserve and therefore
block names at the .XXX registry so that they cannot be used as conventional web addresses.

You can now pre-register .XXX domains with Key-Systems. The pre-orders are non-binding
and without commitment. They will not be charged until we have the pricing from the .XXX
registry. As soon as exact dates and prices are fixed, we will inform you.
What we have heard so far, .XXX will be priced for General Availability around 80.00 USD -
respectively Landrush and Sunrise Application fees will be higher.

On April 7, 2011 the .EU Registry changed the terms and conditions as well as the registration
rules: multi-year registrations up to 10 years are now possible. We have updated the .EU
Appendix in den web interface accordingly.

DotAsia will introduce Chinese, Japanese and Korean IDN characters under the TLD .ASIA
in a Sunrise from May 11 until July 20, 2011. The registry will implement character variants for
Simplified and Traditional Chinese; the Korean IDN characters do not include Hanja characters.

Telnic Limited, the registry operator for .TEL, announced the launch of short (two-character)
and numeric-only .TEL domain names for June 1, 2011. There will be two launch phases:

Landrush:
Starting on June 1, 2011 (a two-week period) for individual or companies, first-come, first served,
at premium registration fee.

General Availability:
Starting on June 14, 2011, first-come, first served, at regular registration pricing.

The following domains will not be available for registration:

• One-letter (from a.tel through to z.tel) and one-digit domains (from 0.tel through to 9.tel)
• Two-character country code top level domains (ccTLDs, such as uk.tel)

France has announced the law to bring various French legislative provisions on health, labor and
telecommunications into line with EU law. The new law will take effect on June 30, 2011.

A number of procedures established by AFNIC will be affected, for example those for resolving
legal disputes will be changed. Furthermore, the law will open certain restrictions on the
registration of domain names, and affect the opening of the .FR TLD to Europe scheduled for
December 31, 2011.

Soon, AFNIC will publish details about the upcoming changes.
 

As of today, we offer the ccTLD .AU (Australia) for registration.
The following domain endings are available: .COM.AU, .NET.AU, .ORG.AU and .ID.AU.
Please note: Registration period is 2 years only.

.ID.AU domains can only be registered by Australian individuals (physical persons).
The registration of .COM.AU, .NET.AU and .ORG.AU is limited to Australian companies,

From April 1 to May 31, 2011, we will offer .PL second-level domain names at a special rate for

.CO
From April 1 to April 30, 2011 you can register .CO second-level domain names at reduced price.
This offer applies to new 1-year registrations but not to domain renewals and transfers.

The General Availability for .SO (Republic of Somalia) will start on April 1, 2011 (0:00 UTC).

and the trustee partner was always entered as the owner of the domain.

This will be changed as of May 2, 2011. Then, the use of the trustee service is optional.

"X-KR-ACCEPT-TRUSTEE-TAC=1" with the AddDomain command.
